If you are interested in doing something a little intellectual, widening your worldview, or exploring new ways of engaging with life, then you might be interested to know that the University of Oxford Continuing Education programme for 2019/2020 has gone live today.
The University’s ContEd Department is one of the largest in the World with over 1100 courses and 13000 students every year! (It dwarfs the rest of the University.) It has been running programmes like this for over 140 years – truly a part of a great institution.
Many of the courses lead to postgraduate qualifications, and almost all of the rest can be accrued as part of an undergraduate or Masters degree – at Oxford and elsewhere.
The range of subjects is really spectacular and I can’t do it justice by listing a few.
Whether you have never studied at University, did so years ago, or have been a life-long learner, you will find that it is an amazing, inclusive, and friendly place.
By the way, the courses are almost universally described as incredibly inexpensive and excellent value for money! So much so that many students travel long distances to get there.
